“PUTT 2 CURE” A BIG SUCCESS
Nearly $6500 was raised for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and fun was had by all at the 9th Annual Putt 2 Cure MS Mini-golf Tournament at Horseshoe Junction, Tuesday night.
According to event organizer Mike Brinkmeyer, 35 four-player teams took to the putt-putt course to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research.
The winning team was the team of Tammy, Justin and Colton Jaster and Logan Blundell.
Justin Jaster was the top adult golfer and Austin Fleming was the top youth golfer.
The KWHI team of Craig Montana, Tommy Lange, Darryl Wehmeyer and the Sports Doc defeated the KTEX-106 team of Kyla McCoy, Trailboss Troy, Michele Daniels and Kathy Randermann to take the Media Challenge.
According to Brinkmeyer anyone who wishes can still donate to his BPMS150 fund raising effort by logging onto: www.putt2curems.com or send a check made out to “National MS Society” to Mike Brinkmeyer at P.O. Box 572, Brenham, 77834.
