RABIES ALERT
A public health notice has been issued regarding a rabies alert.
On November 3rd, a skunk was destroyed at approximately 9am on Tom Dee Street.
The skunk was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be positive for rabies.
If you think that you or someone else may have come in physical contact with this animal please call Brenham Animal control at 979-337-7592 or the Department of State Health Services Zoonosis Control at 1-254-778-6744.
Citizens are also being reminded to make sure your animals are currently vaccinated against rabies.
