RECENT HEAVY RAINS AFFECT LAKE SOMERVILLE OPERATIONS

  

Due to recent heavy rains in the area, Lake Somerville and some of its parks either remain closed, or partially closed due to the lake level being 8 feet over normal elevation.

Emmitt Attaway, Lake Somerville manager, tells how much water is expected to be released from the dam at the lake.

Attaway also discusses how the high lake levels affects park operations.
