RECEPTION TODAY FOR NEW BRENHAM CITY MANAGER

  

A reception is being held later today for Brenham’s new City Manager.

The come-and-go event to meet James Fisher, will be held from 4:30-to6:30 this afternoon at the Brenham Firemen’s Training Center.

Fisher was hired to succeed Terry Roberts who retired Wednesday after 17 years in the post.

Fisher has served in municipal management for the past 28 years.  He began career in Castroville Texas in 1995 serving as City Administrator.  He also served as City Administrator in the Austin suburb of Bee Cave from 1998 to 2008.  He served as City Manager of the Dallas metroplex city of Murphy for 8 years.  He most recently served as City Manager in the city of Forney Texas.
