‘RELAY FOR LIFE’ CONTINUES FIGHT IN THE BATTLE TO CURE CANCER

  

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Washington County will be held tomorrow evening at Fireman’s Park, is an opportunity for all Washington County residents to come together to help raise money and support those who are fighting a battle with cancer.

The event also that cancer survivors, current cancer patients and caregivers. It also pays tribute to those who have lost their battle with cancer.

Some of the activities include individuals and teams dance, play games and take turns walking around a track relay-style to raise funds to fight cancer. At nightfall, participants will light hundreds of luminaria around the track in a moving ceremony to honor cancer survivors, as well as friends and family members lost to the disease.
