RETIRED FBI AGENT TO SPEAK AT LIFETIME LEARNING LUNCHEON

Retired FBI agent Zack Shelton in will be speaking again at a Washington County Lifetime Learning Luncheon.  Friday, March 2, former Special Agent Zack Shelton will be speaking about several key cases that he worked while serving as an FBI agent in the Chicago and Beaumont offices.  This will include his involvement in the case depicted in the movie “Casino” which involved the Chicago Mob and the Kansas City Mafia in key casinos in Las Vegas.  Shelton will also speak about the events that surrounded the dragging death of James Byrd in Jasper, Texas.  Shelton spoke before a sold out crowd for Lifetime Learning two years ago.  He will give an update regarding his investigation into the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which Shelton has worked on with 8 other agents since his retirement from the FBI.

The event will be held at the Blinn Student Center, Janis Sneed Banquet Room on Friday, March 2 from 11:30am – 1:00pm. The cost of the lunch and lecture is $20, and reservations can be made at www.lifetimelearningbrenham.org.  The deadline for reservations is Friday, February 23.
