RETT SYNDROME DISCUSSION TO HIGHLIGHT LADIES LIONS CLUB MEETING

Rett syndrome and the efforts to raise funds for their cause until a cure is found will be the highlight of today’s (Monday) Ladies Lions Club meeting.

Kevin Black, Dave Clements and Connie Strong have worked to publish a book “Raising A Hand” and the trio travels extensively to provide information on this disease and how it affects young girls.

Photographer Dave Clements and a host of dedicated volunteers have devoted an enormous amount of time and effort, in the name of Kevin Black’s late daughter, Cortney, who died of Rett syndrome.

The public is encouraged to attend as reservations are not required.  The book “Raising A Hand’ will be available at the meeting and is also available locally at Parts & More and the Book Nook.

The Ladies Lions Club will meet at 12 noon today (Monday) at the Cannery of the Washington County.
