ROTHERMEL URGES CAUTION WHEN VOTING BY MAIL

According to Washington County Clerk, Beth Rothermel, the Republican and Democratic parties are sending out applications to vote by mail to those that are over 65 years old.

Rothermel says that in order for voters to cast their ballots by mail “Voters should be careful to send in only the application that states the party whose primary election they wish to vote in”.

Voters that qualify to vote by mail can request an application for a party primary ballot by calling the County Clerk’s office at 979-277-6200 extension 115.

For those that do not qualify to vote by mail, voting will begin at the polls, February 16th.
