ROUND TOP TO CELEBRATE FOURTH FOR 165TH TIME
The oldest continuous Fourth of July celebration west of the Mississippi River takes place once-again, this Monday in Round Top.
The Round Top Fourth of July celebration commences at 10:00 Monday morning, as it has every year since 1851.
Lundy Wantland, of the Round Top Rifle Association, says the traditional firing of the Civil War canon will mark the start of all the day’s festivities…
Tickets for the barbeque lunch will only be sold at the door.
Wantland says there will also be plenty of activities for the youngsters.
