SAN ANTONIO TV: BOYKIN ARRESTED IN BAR FIGHT

According to News-4 San Antonio, TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested in San Antonio overnight after fighting at a bar and striking a bicycle patrol officer, according to authorities.

According to reports, Boykin was inside Pat O'Brien's just before 2 a.m. when other patrons recognized him and started talking trash. Boykin reportedly became upset and started trying to punch them.

Police say Boykin began trying to punch officers that arrived to assist. Several officers took Boykin to the ground where the fight continued until they threatened to use a stun gun.  He was then arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and public intoxication.

TCU officials have not yet commented.
