SCHULENBURG MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports a Schulenburg resident was arrested Sunday in the early morning hours for possession illegal drugs.
Deputy Louis Gabler was on patrol on Hwy 90 near Schulenburg and stopped a vehicle for speeding.
Deputy Gabler discovered the operator of the vehicle ,40-year old Joe Paul Campos of Schulenburg did not have a driver’s license and later took him into custody. Upon inventorying the vehicle, Gabler discovered a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine.
Gabler transported the subject to the Fayette County Justice Center where he was booked. Campos was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
