SCOTT AND WHITE AUXILIARY PROVIDES GIFT TO SURGICAL DEPARTMENT
The Scott & White Brenham Auxiliary presented the surgical department of Scott and White Healthcare-Brenham with a gift in the amount of $6,000, to be used to purchase the Olympus EndoWorks.
The money was presented on October 27th, and was a result of the many fundraisers held by the Auxilary
The fundraisers utilizes the monies raised to assist with improvements for Scott & White Healthcare - Brenham facilities and services “The Olympus EndoWorks is a web-based information management system for GI (Colonoscopy and EGD) procedures.
It allows the physician to capture clinical images and/or videos as well as generate physician reports for the procedure being performed.
“This new system allows us to archive this patient data to the electronic medical record where it can be made available to the patient’s care team throughout the Baylor Scott and White system,” says John Michel, Operating Room Nurse Manager. “We sincerely thank the Auxiliary for this gift, and we look forward to using this new resource for years to come.”
