SECOND ARREST MADE IN KURTZ MURDER
Brenham police have arrested a second suspect in the murder of Trey Alan Kurtz.
The name of the suspect, a 16-year-old juvenile at the time of the homicide, is not being released. The juvenile has been charged with capital murder. Because the second person is a juvenile, bond cannot be set, according to Washington County District Attorney Julie Renken.
Eighteen year old Michael Charles Dixon, of Brenham was arrested Oct. 29, a year to the date of the incident. Dixon was also charged with capital murder and is being held on a $1 million bond.
The case is still under investigation and at least two additional arrests are pending.
