SECOND DAY OF EARLY VOTING STILL REMAINS BRISK

  

The second day of Early Voting proved to be even busier than the first with 317 voting, bringing the two day total to 524.

Tuesday’s voting was brisk and voters are encouraged to come in to vote early, as polling locations are consolidated on Election Day.

Of the 15 regular polling sites, only 8 will be open for the Jan. 13 Election. The following are the voting locations for the Tuesday, January 13th Special Election:

Commissioner Precinct One, which includes Voting Precincts 101 and 109 will vote at the Friedens Church of Washington and Voting Precincts 104, 115, 117 and 121 will vote at the Washington County Events Center.

Commissioner Precinct Two, which includes Voting Precinct 203 will vote at the Chappell Hill Fire Department, and Voting Precincts 202, 205 and 208 will vote at the VFW Hall in Brenham.

Commissioner Precinct Three, which includes Voting Precinct 307 and 316 will vote at the American Legion Hall in Brenham and Voting Precincts 311, 312 and 320 will vote at the Berlin-Mill Creek-Zionsville Fire Department.

And Commissioner Precinct Four, which includes Voting Precincts 406, 414, 418, and 419 will vote at the Blinn College Student Center, and Voting Precincts 410 and 413 will vote at the Burton Community Hall (American Legion).

Early voting began on Monday, January 5th and runs through January 9th at the Washington County Courthouse Annex. Election Day is January 13th.
