SEVEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Seven people pled guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.

Britney Winkelmann

Britney Winkelmann, 40 of Brenham had her probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 4 years in prison for evading arrest with a vehicle and assault on a public servant.  Winkelmann was arrested in January of 2015 by Brenham police after she attempted to flee in her vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole.  After the arrest, she continued to resist, kicking at the back window of the patrol unit and eventually biting a police officer on the arm.  A search located crystal methamphetamine both on her person and inside of her vehicle.  Winkelmann was also sentenced to 1 year in state jail for possession of a controlled substance.

Kendahl Main

Kendahl Main, 36 of Brenham was sentenced to 3 years in prison for unlawful possession of firearm by felon.  Main was arrested in February of this year following a burglary investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.  After her arrest, Main’s vehicle was found to contain numerous firearms matching the description of those reported stolen in the burglary.  She was also sentenced to 1 year in state jail and ordered to pay $3000 in fines for 2 counts of credit card abuse.

 

 

Christopher Stefanik, 19 of Brenham was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation, $9,965 restitution and 250 hours of community service for burglary of habitation and engaging in organized criminal activity.  Stefanik, along with 2 other individuals, was arrested in May of 2016 after a burglary investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.

Francisco Euskival Estrada, 29 of Brenham was sentenced to 4 years in prison for possession of a controlled substance.

Harold Eugene Buster, 59 of Brenham was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication probation, $2465 restitution, and ordered to perform 120 hours of community service for forgery financial instrument involving the elderly.

Rhys Kent Petersen, 19 of Magnolia was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation, $12,351 in restitution and 120 hours of community service for 2 counts of unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

Luis Alberto Hernandez, 31 of Brenham was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation, a $300 fine and 75 hours of community service for injury to a child.
