SEXUAL ABUSE SUSPECT TRANSFERED TO WASHINGTON CO. JAIL

  

Brenham Police booked Hector Mancilla-Mendoza into the Washington County Jail last night for Continuous Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child.  The 26 year old Mendoza was arrested by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department on October 15th after a warrant was issued by Brenham Police.  Investigators in Brenham were notified in October of suspected continuous sexual assault of a child involving the male subject and a seven year old female victim.  The subject was reported to be the Las Vegas area.  Mendoza was arrested without incident and was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a 1.5 million dollar bond.  He has now been transferred to the Washington County Jail.
