SHERIFF’S OFFICE EXPERIENCING TELEPHONE PROBLEMS

  

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is experiencing telephone problems due to the installation of a new phone system.

During the changeover from the old phone system to a new one, some calls from landlines are not going through.  If you have trouble reaching either the Washington County Sheriff’s Office or the County Jail, you are asked to call the Communications Department at their non-emergency number.  That number is 979-337-7272.  The Sheriff’s Department apologizes for the inconvenience, and technicians are working to resolve the problem with their phone system.
