UPDATE – SHERIFF’S OFFICE PHONE LINES WORKING AGAIN

  

Update: At 3:45 PM Monday, the Washington County Sheriff's Office reported that their phone lines were working again.  There is no report of what the problem was.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that their phones are not working again including their non-emergency number.  The phones went dead at the Sheriff’s office last Wednesday, reportedly because a router had failed.  Like many other businesses, the county recently moved all of their phones to an IP based system.

It is unknown at this time how long the outage will last.

As always, anyone with an emergency is asked to call 9-1-1.
