SIX COUNTY ROADS CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER
The Washington County Road and Bridge Department reports that as of noon today (Tuesday) that 6 county roads are closed due to high water. They are:
Copelyn Springs Rd. from FM 1155 to Earlywine Rd.
S. Meyersville Rd. from FM 1155 to Earlywine Rd
Old Chappell Hill Rd. from Indian Paint Brush Rd. to Chappell Gate
Old Navasota Rd. from Allen Rd. to Old Chappell Hill Rd.
River Bottom Ln.
Whiddon Ln.
Additional rains are predicted through Thursday for the area. Drivers are reminded that roads can quickly become covered with water during and after a heavy rain.

is it possible the county to build bridges over some of the rds that are listed very important one is FM 1155 needs a bridge
