SIX PERSONS SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Six people pled guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell:

James Charles Daniels, Jr., 20 of Brenham, was sentenced to 16 months in state jail for theft.  He also had his probation adjudicated for a 2014 credit card abuse case and was sentenced to a concurrent term in state jail.

Thessalagrius Dewayne Davis, 39 of Brenham was sentenced to 6 months in state jail for 2 cases of delivery of marijuana from 2013.

Maria Villanueva, 30 of LaGrange was sentenced to 4 years probation for driving while intoxicated with a child in February of this year.  She also must serve 15 days in the Washington County jail and complete 160 hours community service

Montreyle Devon McCormick, 25 of Kennedale, Texas was sentenced to 8 years deferred adjudication probation for online solicitation of a minor for sexual contact.  He also must complete 150 hours of community service and have no contact with minor children and must abide by all sex offender conditions of probation.

Jeremy Burks, 22 of Katy, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for a 2014 possession of a controlled substance case.  He also must complete 200 hours community service.

Blake R. Blundell, 25 of Brenham was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for a 2015 possession of a controlled substance case.  He also must complete 120 hours community service.
