After a year on the run, a sixth suspect in a Walker County murder case has been captured.

19-year old Giovanny Villatoro was booked into the Walker County Jail earlier this week.

He is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Villatoro is one of six people charged in connection with skeletal remains that were found near Huntsville High School in September 2016.

According to authorities, several members of the MS-13 gang strangled, stabbed and then set the victim on fire. The victim's remains were then dumped in a wooded area near FM 247.

The other five suspects, between ages 17-and-20, were all indicted by a Walker County grand jury in January 2017.

Huntsville Police say they are still waiting on lab tests to positively identify the victim’s remains.
