SNOOK ISD SEEKING MEMBERS FOR HEALTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

  

The Snook Independent School District is looking for new members to join the district’s School Health Advisory Council.

The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) assists the district in ensuring local community values are reflected in health education programs.  The council addresses the continued implementation of health programs including: health education, physical education, health services, nutrition services, counseling, healthy school environment, staff health promotion and family/community involvement.

The Council meets four times during the school year. Anyone interested in serving on the School Health Advisory Council can come to the first meeting on Tuesday September 27th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Snook Elementary Library.
