SNOOK SELECTS ARCHITECT FOR SCHOOL FACILITY PLANNING
The Snook School Board continues the process of a possible new athletics complex.
The board has approved the firm Harris Craig Architects of Tyler to perform a facilities assessment, site planning, project estimates and pre-bond planning.
The district’s facilities planning committee has been working with Hanks Engineering Services to outline the future facilities needs, including: a football stadium with 8-lane track, a softball field and tennis courts.
Other items being considered are: a new secondary cafeteria, a fine arts facility, new maintenance and transportation facility and weight room.
Officials say they want to get some cost estimates for the facility projects before moving forward.
