SOMERVILLE CITY PROJECT PROGRESSING
The city of Somerville is nearing the completion of a major capital improvement project for a chlorine contact basin at the city’s waste water treatment plant and for four lift stations.
City Administrator Marty Mangum says the project should be completed within the next four-to-five weeks.
The $319,000 chlorine project is being funded from bond proceeds.
The four lift station are located at the waste-water treatment plant.
That project was also funded by $269,000 in bond proceeds.
