SOMERVILLE HOSTS TEXAS H20 QUALIFER SERIES

  

Lake Somerville received a huge boost in business over the past weekend when the Lake Somerville Marina hosted the Texas H20 Series.

A competitive personal watercraft race, the series was also a great family-friendly event that let young folks enjoy watching jet skis race at high speeds.

There were 46 racers, with some of the more professional ones taking the course at speeds as high as 60 miles an hour in some areas.

Some racers came from as far as Biloxi, Mississippi, and farther to compete in the ever, which is a qualifier for the International Jet Sports Boating Association World Finals.
