SOMERVILLE MEN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM PARKING LOT
Two Somerville men have been arrested on Marijuana Possession charges after they were stopped in the parking lot of a Brenham department store.
Officer Sierra Newell responded to the WalMart parking lot on Highway 290 West in reference to a narcotic complaint, around 9:15 Tuesday night.
According to Newell, the odor of marijuana was coming from a vehicle.
A search was conducted of the vehicle, and two occupants were arrested for possession of marijuana.
22-year old Jaren Joseph Trout and 22-year old Toney Zackary Mantey, both of Somerville, were taken into custody.
Mantey and Trout were transported to Washington County Jail.
