SOMERVILLE REACHES AGREEMENT WITH PARK GROUP

  

The Somerville City Council has approved an agreement for maintenance and improvements to its city parks.

The agreement is with the newly-formed Somerville Parks Association.

The group was formed to improve the city’s parks by accepting private donations for sponsorships at various park items, including: the baseball and softball parks, trees, bleachers and park benches.

The group is conducting a survey to get citizens’ comments on the type of improvements they want to see.

The agreement is between the city, S.P.A. and St. Ann’s Catholic Church for work at Pazdral Park and Father Mahoney Park.
