SPRING EGG ART WALK WINNERS ANNOUNCED

  
Best Spring Theme – Kenneth McGehee for “Spring Bunny”

Main Street Brenham has announced the winners of this year’s Spring Egg Art Walk.  The giant plywood eggs were painted and decorated by school classes, clubs, businesses and individuals then placed throughout downtown Brenham.  2847 ballots were received in the judging this year and 29 eggs were in the competition.  This year’s winners are:

Best Spring Theme – Kenneth McGehee for “Spring Bunny”

Adult Most Votes – Suzanne Syvertson for “Egg-Sighting”

Student Most Votes – Mrs. Hamilton’s Pre-K Classes First Baptist Church School for “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”

Adult Most Artistic – Kourtney Neumann for “Follow the White Rabbit”

Adult Most Original – YPO of Washington County for “Daphne the Young Professional”

Adult Judge’s Award – Bustles & Bow Ties Boutique for “A New Beginning”

Student Most Artistic – Sarah Mabie for “Hunting for an Eggcellent Egg”

Student Most Original – Krause Elementary School Bilingual Classes for “Six Banderas Over Texas”

Student Judge’s Award – Grace Lutheran School for “God is our Refuge”

Winners received a cash prize from Main Street Brenham as well as receiving half of the proceeds from the auction of the eggs which took place online during the judging.
