ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPTIAL PROPOSES A TAKE OVER OF THE AUSTIN COUNTY EMS
Austin County Judge Carolyn Bilski has some concerns about a proposal from St. Joseph’s Hospital to take over the county’s emergency medical service.
Judge Bilski says she will listen to the proposal, listen to the people but will not institute the proposal until there is a vote from the people.
The Austin County Commissioners will hold a workshop session on the proposal to start off Monday’s meeting. She says it is too early to take any action.
The St. Joseph’s Hospital has recently gotten approval to expand its emergency room.
The Austin County Commissioners meet Monday at nine at the courthouse in Bellville.
