STOLEN CHECKS USED TO PURCHASE FROM RIO GRANDE VALLEY USED TO PURCHASE NEARLY $300 WORTH OF ITEMS FROM BRENHAM HEB

  

Someone used a check stolen from Hidalgo County to buy $295 worth of items from the Brenham HEB Wednesday night.

Brenham Police Officer Ashley Burns was called to the scene when the victim reported the stolen checks from her home in the Rio Grande Valley.  Brenham police are reviewing surveillance tapes to try to find the person who bought $95 worth of razors, condoms and lotion and then purchased a $200 gift card.  The investigation continues.
