STOLEN GUNS TURNING UP

Nearly two years after a brazen smash and grab burglary near Bryan, guns stolen from a Brazos County gun store continue to surface.

According to KBTX News 3 in Bryan, seven of the 80 guns stolen from the Great Texas Gun Company have turned up in the Corpus Christi area.

Two of the guns turned up in Corpus Christi this past August—one involved in a shooting, while another was used in a suicide.

Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk told KBTX that another of the stolen guns was involved in a disturbance at a casino in Reno, Nevada last January.

Authorities believe three men involved in a Houston pawn shop burglary are involved, but charges have not been filed.

An agent with the ATF says they are continuing to offer a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Brazos CountyCrimestoppers at (979) 775-TIPS (8477).
