SUNDAY/FUNDAY THIS WEEKEND IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

  

Historic downtown Brenham will host its latest edition of Sunday Funday this coming Sunday.

The Washington County Visitor Center will be open, offering tours of the Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre. The Dawn of Washington County movie show times are noon, 1pm and 2pm.

Downtown shopping includes Back Lot Gallery, Bluebird Off the Square, Branded Boutique, Canyon Chick, Dona Lynn’s Unique Gifts, Hermann Furniture, Home Sweet Farm Market, Glissmann’s, JR’s Antiques & Collectibles, Lolli & Dauts Boutique, Puppy Dawgs & Cat Tails, Ranch Interiors, The Book Nook, Today and Yesterday, Blue Goose Garden & Gifts, The Gunnery and The Woman’s Cave.”

Restaurants to be open are Brenham Grill, BT Longhorn, Must Be Heaven, Ninety Six West, Roux Street and Smitty’s Café and Bakery.

Special events include:

Home Sweet Farm Market: Artisan & Farmers Market, 12-3pm; Live music by Julia Hatfield, 12pm

Back Lot Gallery: “Spontaneous Collaboration” – Art by Joyce McCown & Candi Fite

Unity Theatre: The Syringa Tree, A Drama by Pamela Gien. 4pm

Brazos Valley Brewing Company: Annual Hymn & Beer Fest, 4-7pm, live music by Allison Crowson & Friends. Proceeds benefit The Miracle League of Austin County. Hosted by St. John Lutheran Church, St Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg and Salem Lutheran Church of Brenham.

Brenham First Sunday Funday! is organized by Home Sweet Farm Market, Ninety Six West, BT Longhorn Steakhouse & Saloon, Roux Street and Brazos Valley Brewing Companytely, on the first Sunday of each month, providing live music, food, arts, shopping and family entertainment.
