SUV POT PARTY BUST

  

A 20-year old Houston man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana late Tuesday afternoon when a witness reported a pot party going on in a SUV parked at an apartment complex on South Day.

Cpl. Edward Ortega was called to the scene at the Manor Apartments after getting a report of suspicious activity going on inside a parked Chevy Suburban just before six pm, Tuesday.

The windows were fogged with smoke and once the occupants opened the door of the vehicle Cpl. Ortega could smell a strong odor of marijuana.

Six people were in the vehicle but only one of them claimed the marijuana was his.  Twenty-year old Jerrod O’Neal McAfee of Houston was arrested for the misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
