TEMPLE MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
A Temple man faces marijuana and weapon charges after his arrest this weekend.
Saturday morning, just after 11:30, Cpl. Seth Klehm conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 block of US 290 West.
Klehm says when he approached the vehicle he could smell marijuana.
One of the passengers, identified as 17-year old Deandre McNeil of Temple, had marijuana residue on his clothing.
During a probable cause search, Klehm also located a small pistol under the front passenger seat, as well as a bag of marijuana.
McNeil is charged with Possession of marijuana and Unlawfully carrying a weapon.
