TEXAS A&M STUDENT KILLED AT HER APARTMENT

  

A Texas A&M student was found dead at her apartment in College Station Saturday night.

Police went to the Scandia Apartment on Anderson Street just before 8 p.m. in response to reported gunshots.

Upon arrival, police found evidence that someone had been injured at the apartment complex. During a search of the apartments, College Station Police found 21-year-old Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano deceased. Authorities say she was a senior at Texas A&M University.

While no one is in custody at this time, police believe the incident is the result of a domestic dispute. Anyone with information is asked to call College Station Police at 979-764-3600.
