TEXAS ANTIQUE TRACTOR SHOW & PULL HAPPENING THIS WEEK

  

The Texas Antique Tractor Show & Pull Kickoff is happening this Friday and Saturday in Hallettsville.

The event will feature displays of antique and classic farm machinery; tractors, stationary engines, and demonstrations.

Mark Hermes, an organizer for the event, says the show will be held indoors at the William Baber Memorial Complex. Hermes says Friday night’s pull, which is expected to be quite popular, has the theme of “Straight out of the Field”:

The event continues Saturday with competition pulls beginning at 10 a.m. The Tractor Parade, which features meticulously restored tractors and equipment in action, will be at 1 p.m. The popular Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull is set to take place at 3 p.m. The pull continues into the evening hours with modified tractors racing down the track.

Hermes says proceeds from the pull will benefit the Hallettsville American Legion, Post #230:
