TEXAS SCHOOLS MAKE “GREAT COLLEGES” LIST

  

Eleven schools from the Lone Star state earned spots on the Chronicle of Higher Education's list of "Great Colleges to Work For 2017."

The Chronicle, an education news source, surveyed more than 45,000 faculty and staff members at 232 institutions nationwide.

Making the list from Texas—in no particular order:  Sam Houston State; University of Incarnate Word; Lone Star College; TCU; Baylor: Victoria College; Abilene Christian; Angelo State; Texas Lutheran; Lubbock Christian and South Texas College of Law.

The top contestants were narrowed down by a variety of factors including respect and appreciation, job satisfaction, diversity, compensation and benefits and more.
