The 62ND Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course

  

The 62nd Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course is scheduled for Aug. 1-3 on the Texas A&M University campus.

The three day event will focus on beef cattle production, management, market outlooks and the future of the industry. Each year the event hosts over 1400 participants eager to gain valuable knowledge about beef cattle production. Additionally, over 125 agriculture related businesses and trade show exhibitors attend the course.

This year the general session is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Rudder Auditorium and speakers include:

Dr. Ted McCollum, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service beef cattle specialist

Brian Bledsoe, chief meteorologist at KKTV- Colorado Springs

Dr. Brad Morgan, of Performance Food Group

and

Duane Lenz, CattleFax Economist

In addition to the general session, the much anticipated Texas Aggie Prime Rib Dinner of the Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course will be held at 6 p.m. at the Memorial Student Center ballroom. A complete schedule of the event can be found at www.beefcattleshortcourse.com
