THEFT OF JEWELRY AND COINS UNDER INVESTIGATION
Jewelry and coins are missing after a theft in Brenham.
Saturday morning, around 10:30 Cpl. Jared Campbell responded to the 400 block of High Street in reference to a theft.
The caller said several pieces of jewelry and silver Eagle coins valued at approximately $3,000 were missing.
The incident is under investigation.

One thing I keep seeing in these posts are young people who should be trying to better themselves , but instead they are robbing, fighting, etc… Brenham & Washington Co. need to figure out how to get these kids working or in school or the epidemic will continue and get worse.
I know you can’t help everyone because it starts at home, but the community as a whole is changing and there has to be something to motivate the unmotivated.
Probably the same thief that broke into my car and ransacked it this past weekend off Lubbock St. Luckily, I don’t keep anything in my vehicle. It seems like more and more thefts are happening in this town by the day.Video surveillance is definitely going up at my house now…
