THINK PINK THURSDAY

Thursday will be another ‘Think Pink Thursday’ at the Brenham Clinic.  This is a day in which everyone in town is urged to wear something pink to show support to the victims of breast cancer and to continue the search for a cure.

The Brenham Clinic celebration began 12 years ago, with the opening of the Giddings Hasskarl Imaging Center, at 693 North Market.

Dr. William Loesch of the Clinic says this center has played an important part in helping women from either getting breast cancer or catching it before it spreads.

Businesses throughout Washington County are joining the Chamber of Commerce and the Brenham Clinic to ‘Paint the Town Pink’.  Employers across the county are encouraging them to wear their favorite pink outfit to promote breast cancer awareness.

The day will culminate with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce ‘Business After Hours’ hosted by the Brenham Clinic.  The event will provide information about the importance of early detection and screening, including tours of the mammography imaging center at the Brenham Clinic.  Physicians and breast cancer survivors will share their stories of hope and inspiration.

The Think Pink Thursday event is at the Giddings Hasskarl Imaging Center at 693 North Market from five to seven pm.
