THREE A&M STUDENTS ARRESTED FOR POSING DEAD DOG

Three members of Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets face charges after a dead dog was discovered on the band’s practice field.

KBTX-TV is reporting that Atticus Johnson, Garrett Kale and Sterling Hampe, all 18-years old, were all taken into custody this week and charged with illegal dumping.

Reports say the dog was found in the middle of the practice field, posed in what witnesses report was a “ritualistic manner”.

According to the police report, the deceased dog was dressed with an A&M baseball cap, commonly issued to freshmen students in the Corps.

Officials say an e-mail sent to a Corps of Cadets Lieutenant identified the three suspects, who told police they found the deceased dog on the side of a road in Bryan.

Authorities say they do not know of a motive yet for the incident.

The Corps of Cadets has declined to comment on the situation.
