THREE ARRESTED IN DRUG RAID FRIDAY

  

Local law enforcement arrested three persons and seized 77 grams of meth during a raid on a residence last Friday.

According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Brenham Police Department and the Washington County E.M.S. assisted federal agencies in the execution of a search warrant at a residence located in the 4000 block of Roadrunner Lane. Upon arriving at the residence, officers apprehended a male subject who was found inside a truck parked in the driveway.  Two more individuals were also taken into custody once the officers entered the residence.  A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of numerous firearms and approximately 77 grams of methamphetamines which has a street value of $7,800.

Arrested at the scene and booked into the Washington County Jail were Bryan Cody Rosenbaum, 28,  Thomas Lee Reek, Jr., 35, and Ashley Marie Martinez, 29, all of Brenham.  Both Rosenbaum and Reek were charged with two counts of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of Marijuana.  Both have bonds totaling one million one thousand five hundred dollars each.  Ashley Martinez was charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Abandoning or Endangering a Child with bonds totaling five hundred eleven thousand five hundred dollars.  Three children ranging from ages 2-5 were inside the residence and were later released to the custody of Child Protective Services. All three subjects remain in custody at the Washington County Jail and additional federal charges are pending against Rosenbaum and Reek, who both have extensive criminal histories.
