THREE FACE CHARGES AFTER WEEKEND TRAFFIC STOPS
Three people face charges after separate traffic stops in Brenham this weekend.
Saturday morning, at 12:30 am, Corporal Ashley Burns conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Park Street near Fireman’s Park.
The driver, 56-year old Bernard McDowell of Lincoln was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
McDowell was taken to the Washington Co. Jail.
Saturday morning, around 10:15, Officer Eddie Martinez conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Market St.
47-year old Franklyn Tanner of Brenham, was taken into custody for Driving While License Invalid W/ Previous Convictions.
Sunday morning, at 1:15, Corporal Ashley Burns conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of South Day St. and Highway 290 West.
Investigation revealed the driver, 24-year old Jonah Spahn of Brenham, was found to be intoxicated and was placed into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.
