THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED BY BRENHAM POLICE OVER THE WEEKEND

  

Three people were arrested by Brenham Police in separate incidents over the weekend.

On Friday at 10:30 AM, Officer Kejan Mehlhorn observed a male subject crossing over the 290 West Main Lane in the 300 Block. Upon contact, the male was identified as Claude Cunningham, 31 of Brenham. Cunningham had an active warrant out of Williamson County. Cunningham was placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Saturday night at 10:20, Officer Eddie Martinez conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 Block of Farewell Street.  Further investigation revealed that Suspect, Wendy Lynn Meyers, 35 of Brenham, was in possession of narcotics and was placed in custody for Possession of Controlled Substance and was transported to jail.

Sunday afternoon at 2:35, Officer Ashley Burns responded to the 200 block of US HWY 290 W, in reference to a theft. Upon arrival suspect, Reya Williams, 26 of Houston was located and taken into custody for passing all points of purchase without paying for the items. When booking Williams in at the Jail, narcotics were located in her belongings and she was further charged with Possession of Controlled Substance.
