THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED IN LA GRANGE DRUG BUST

  

Three people were arrested in La Grange on drug charges after an investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff Office.

The sheriff’s office reports that a lengthy investigation led to them obtaining a search warrant for a house located on North Washington Street in LaGrange.

On Thursday, the warrant was served by Fayette County Narcotics Unit and Fayette County Deputies, with assistance from LaGrange Police Department and Fayette County E.M.S.

During the execution of the search warrant, four people were detained after one attempted to flee the residence. Numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia and narcotics were located inside the residence.

One person was released after the investigation without any charges. Nicole Lambert, 29, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Ila Austin, 21, was arrested for possession of marijuana. Latrezia Johnson, 20, was arrested for possession of marijuana and evading arrest.

All three people were transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center where they were released to Jail.
