TOMATO & PEPPER PLANT SALE UNDER WAY

  

The Washington County Horticulture Committee is holding its annual tomato and pepper plant sale.

This year’s varieties have been selected by the Washington County Horticulture Committee and are deemed suitable for this area.

This year the lineup features 12 tomato varieties, cilantro, dill and parsley.  Also included are three varieties of bell peppers, jalapenos, eggplant, squash and zucchini.

Orders are due by March 16. Pick-up will be on Tuesday March, 27 from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the sales facility on the Washington County fairgrounds here.

The cost is $2.25 for a four-pack of plants.

Order forms are available online at washington.agrilife.org/ or at the Washington County Extension Office.

All orders must be paid for when they are placed and no orders will be accepted without payment.

All proceeds from this sale benefit the youth of Washington County through scholarships.
