TWELVE INDICTMENTS IN AUSTIN COUNTY

  

The grand jury in Austin County had a busy session last week. 

 Robberies and drug charges led the way for 12 indictments handed down last week by the Austin County Grand Jury.

There was also a case of an accident causing death.  Forty-five year old  Kevin  Dewayne  Class was indicted after a fatal accident in March.

A 25-year old Austin County woman was indicted for aggravated robbery for an alleged incident on April 21st 2014.  Labaron Roshawn Blanks led the way in twelve indictments handed down in last week’s grand jury session.

Also indicted was 26-year old Desmond Cardell on a charge of child indecency.  He allegedly exposed himself to a child in April.

Twenty-three year old Daniel Earl Campbell was indicted for delivering marijuana in a drug free zone in April.  Campbell was also indicted  on another marijuana delivery charge for an alleged incident in May.

Delving Rashaed Bassett was also indicted for delivering controlled substances in a drug free zone for an incident in March.

Thirty-three Hermann Arroyo was indicted for felony possession of a controlled substance.  He was arrested on May 21st.  Thirty-one year old Damedrick Deshawn Lane was also indicted for the possession of a controlled substance.

Fity-one year old Leonard Clements was indicted for injuring a child during after his arrest in March.

Forty-year old Christopher Allen was indicted for the continuous sexual abuse of a child.  He was arrested in October of 2012.

Other indictments were for driving while intoxicated
