TWO ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
Two people face charges after a traffic stop in Brenham, Wednesday night.
Officer Eddie Martinez pulled over a vehicle in the 1700 Block of State Highway 105 at around 11:00 p.m.
Martinez says he could smell marijuana in the vehicle. A search resulted in the arrest of a passenger, 29-year old Ashley Lynn Knebel of Hempstead for Possession of Marijuana.
Dispatch also advised Martinez that the driver, 30-year old Julie Compeon of Brenham,, had three active traffic warrants from the Brenham Police Department for her arrest.
Both were taken to the Washington County Jail.
