TWO ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF COCAINE
Two Brenham residents were arrested for possession of cocaine Thursday afternoon by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Otto Hanak reports that after a two month long criminal investigation conducted by Sergeant Eddie Ocanas and other deputies, a search warrant was executed at a residence located at the 1400 block of Lauraine Street in Brenham. Deputies, along with the assistance of Brenham Police Department, seized approximately 92 grams of powdered cocaine determined to have a street value of $4,600. Officers also confiscated a large sum of cash, handguns, and other paraphernalia, such as digital scales and baggies, used in the sale of illegal drugs.
Frederic Erwin Watts, 22, and Pablo Daniel Marin, 27, both of Brenham, were arrested in conjunction with the investigation. Watts has been charged with Possession of Cocaine and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Marin has also been charged with Possession of Cocaine and may face
additional charges pending the completion of the investigation. Both subjects remain in custody at the Washington County Jail.
