TWO ARRESTED FOR THEFT OF COPPER AT BREN-TEX PALLETS

  

The Brenham Fire Department reports that Thursday around noon, they received a call of suspicious activity at Bren-Tex Pallets at 1207 Industrial Blvd, a business that recently burned down.

According to the Brenham Police Department, the owner of the business drove by and saw two Hispanic males in two pickups stacking up copper. The owner contacted the police, and Investigator Mike Davis arrived at the scene and detained the men, Fifty-two year old Oscar Lopez and twenty-four year old Nicholas Vasquez, both from Brenham, and waited for Fire Marshal Heath Mahlman to arrive.

The men were arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

The case is under investigation.
